1. INTRODUCTION

This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, returns, and refunds for products and services purchased from AIClips ("we," "our," or "us") through our website www.aiclips.net or mobile application (collectively, the "Platform").

This policy is in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, of India. By purchasing products or services from our Platform, you agree to the terms of this Cancellation and Refund Policy.

2. DIGITAL PRODUCTS

2.1 General Policy

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of digital assets (templates, stock footage, audio files, photos, graphics, and 3D assets) are generally final. Once a digital product has been delivered through download or access provision, it cannot be "returned" in the conventional sense.

2.2 Exceptions for Digital Products Refunds

However, we offer refunds for digital products under the following specific circumstances:

2.2.1 Technical Issues

If you are unable to download or access the purchased digital product due to technical issues on our end, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within 72 hours from the time of your support request, you are eligible for a full refund.

2.2.2 Product Misrepresentation

If the digital product significantly differs from its description or preview shown on our Platform in terms of key features, specifications, or functionality, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase. You must provide specific details about how the product differs from its description.

2.2.3 Corrupted Files

If the downloaded files are corrupted, damaged, or otherwise unusable, and our support team cannot provide a working replacement within 72 hours of your support request, you are eligible for a full refund.

2.2.4 Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same digital product twice within 24 hours, you may request a refund for the duplicate purchase.

2.3 Ineligible for Refund

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • The product was purchased more than 7 days ago (except for technical issues or corrupted files)
  • You simply changed your mind or no longer need the product
  • You purchased the wrong product (but we may consider one-time exceptions at our discretion)
  • You lack the technical knowledge or software to use the product
  • You claim the product is "not as expected" but the product matches its description and preview
  • You purchased a product that is clearly marked as "non-refundable"

2.4 Process for Requesting a Digital Product Refund

To request a refund for a digital product, please follow these steps:

  2. Include your order number, purchase date, and the name of the product
  3. Clearly explain the reason for your refund request, providing as much detail as possible
  4. Attach any relevant screenshots or evidence that support your refund request
  5. We will review your request and respond within 48 hours

3. SUBSCRIPTIONS

3.1 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

  1. Logging into your account on our Platform
  2. Navigating to "Account Settings" > "Subscriptions"
  3. Selecting "Cancel Subscription" and following the prompts

When you cancel a subscription:

  • You will continue to have access to the subscription services until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made for future billing periods
  • No partial refunds will be issued for the unused portion of your current billing period, unless required by law

3.2 Subscription Refunds

Refunds for subscription services may be provided under the following circumstances:

3.2.1 New Subscriptions

If you are a new subscriber and cancel within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase, you may request a full refund if you have not downloaded or accessed more than 5 items through the subscription.

3.2.2 Service Unavailability

If our subscription services are unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours or for a cumulative period exceeding 72 hours in a single billing cycle due to issues on our end, you may request a pro-rated refund for the affected time period.

3.2.3 Unauthorized Charges

If you discover unauthorized subscription charges, report them immediately to [email protected]. After verification, we will issue a refund for the unauthorized charges.

3.3 Process for Requesting a Subscription Refund

To request a refund for subscription services, please follow these steps:

  2. Include your account information and subscription details
  3. Clearly explain the reason for your refund request
  4. We will review your request and respond within 48 hours

4. CUSTOM SERVICES

4.1 Custom Service Cancellation

For custom design and development services:

4.1.1 Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you cancel a custom service order before work has begun (as confirmed by our team), you will receive a full refund minus any applicable transaction fees.

4.1.2 Cancellation During Initial Phase

If you cancel after work has begun but before the first draft or deliverable is provided, a 70% refund may be issued at our discretion, depending on the resources already committed.

4.1.3 Cancellation After First Draft

If you cancel after receiving the first draft or deliverable, refunds will be determined on a case-by-case basis, considering the amount of work completed. Typically, refunds at this stage will not exceed 50% of the total project cost.

4.1.4 Cancellation After Final Delivery

No refund will be issued for cancellations after the final deliverables have been provided, unless the deliverables do not meet the specifications outlined in the project agreement.

4.2 Process for Cancelling Custom Services

To cancel custom services, please:

  1. Contact your assigned project manager directly or email [email protected] with the subject line "Custom Service Cancellation"
  2. Include your project details and reason for cancellation
  3. We will review your request and respond within 48 hours

5. PAYMENT PROCESSING AND REFUND TIMELINE

5.1 Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase whenever possible:

  • Credit/Debit Card payments will be refunded to the same card
  • Net Banking payments will be refunded to the same bank account
  • UPI payments will be refunded to the same UPI ID
  • Digital Wallet payments will be refunded to the same wallet

If the original payment method is unavailable or expired, we may issue the refund through an alternative method at our discretion.

5.2 Refund Timeline

Once a refund is approved:

  • Bank transfers, credit/debit card, and UPI refunds typically take 5-10 business days to process, depending on your financial institution
  • Digital wallet refunds are typically processed within 1-3 business days
  • During peak periods or due to banking delays, refunds may take longer to process

You will receive an email notification when your refund has been processed.

5.3 Taxes and Fees

When a refund is issued:

  • The full purchase amount including GST will be refunded for eligible refunds
  • Payment gateway transaction fees may not be refundable in some cases
  • For partial refunds, GST will be calculated proportionately

6. CANCELLATION BY AICLIPS

We reserve the right to cancel orders, subscriptions, or custom service agreements in the following circumstances:

  • Suspected fraudulent transactions
  • Violation of our Terms and Conditions
  • Technical errors in pricing or product information
  • Inability to verify payment information
  • Products or services no longer available

In the event of cancellation by AIClips for the above reasons, a full refund will be issued for any amounts already paid, except in cases of Terms and Conditions violations.
