Asset Preview, Rendering & Playback Problems
If you're unable to view previews, play files, or render downloaded assets correctly, the issue may be related to your browser, device, software, or file setup. Here’s how to troubleshoot the most common problems.
1. Preview Not Loading on the Website
If an image, video, or template preview doesn't load:
Refresh the page and try again
Clear browser cache and cookies
Disable ad blockers or extensions
Switch to another supported browser
Check your internet connection
Ensure JavaScript and cookies are enabled
If only one asset page is affected, the file may still be processing or might have a temporary display issue.
2. Video or Audio Preview Not Playing
If video/audio won't play on AIClips:
Make sure your browser supports MP4/MOV audio/video playback
Try switching to another browser
Disable VPNs or firewall restrictions
Allow media autoplay (if blocked by browser)
Check device volume and mute settings
For large previews, give it a few seconds to buffer.
3. Rendering Issues with Templates (After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
If a template does not render or open correctly:
Confirm you are using the correct software version
Extract ZIP files before opening
Install missing fonts, plugins, or presets
Check file compatibility (e.g., .aep, .psd, .prproj)
If rendering fails:
Restart the software
Clear temporary/cache files
Ensure your system meets performance requirements (RAM, GPU, disk space)
4. Images or Graphics Not Displaying Correctly
If PNG, JPG, or SVG files appear corrupted or blank:
Re-download the file
Try opening in a different viewer or editor
Confirm extraction if it was part of a ZIP file
Check for incomplete download (file size mismatch)
5. Audio/Sound Effects Not Playing
If audio files don't work:
Confirm supported formats (MP3, WAV, M4A)
Try another media player
Ensure volume and audio device configuration are correct
Redownload the file if the download was interrupted
6. Slow or Broken Playback
If playback is laggy:
Check internet speed for streamed previews
Close other heavy applications or downloads
Switch to desktop instead of mobile
Try offline playback after download
7. File Shows as Damaged or Unsupported
This usually indicates:
Incomplete download
Wrong software used to open the file
Attempting to open ZIP files directly
Outdated app or missing codec
Solution:
Re-extract / re-download the asset
Update your software or player
8. When to Contact Support
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, contact support with:
Asset name or link
Screenshot or error message
File type and software used
Device and browser info (if preview-related)
AIClips can re-upload or correct the asset if there's a file-level issue.
