Attribution & Credits
Attribution refers to giving proper credit to the creator or platform when using an asset. Whether attribution is required depends on the file type, license, and usage terms.
1. When Attribution Is Required
Attribution may be needed in the following situations:
You are using free assets
The asset specifically mentions attribution in its details
You’re publishing the asset in a public or shared platform
The license certificate notes “Credit Required”
If attribution is mandatory and you fail to include it, it may count as improper use.
2. When Attribution Is Not Required
You do not need to add credits if:
You purchased the asset with a Regular or Extended License
You downloaded it using a premium subscription
The asset clearly states “No attribution needed”
You’re using AI outputs covered under a paid plan
Even when not required, giving credit is always appreciated and supports creators.
3. How to Provide Attribution
If attribution is needed, use one of the following formats (depending on placement):
For digital use (web, social, videos):
“Asset by [Creator Name] via AIClips”
For print or presentations:
Image/Design courtesy of AIClips
For videos or animations:
Include in end credits or description:
Template provided by AIClips
4. Placement Examples
Website footer or caption
Social media description or credits
Video end screen or description
Printed material credits section
Project documentation or presentation notes
5. Example Attribution Lines
You can use any of the following formats if attribution is required:
“Graphic by AIClips”
“Design from AIClips.net”
“Asset by [Creator Name] on AIClips”
“Licensed via AIClips”
6. AI-Generated Content Credits
If you use AI tools on the platform and want to credit the source:
Recommended formats:
“Created using AIClips”
“Generated with AIClips AI Tools”
This is optional unless stated by the tool or license.
7. What Not to Do
Do not:
Claim you created the original asset
Remove embedded creator marks or metadata
Attribute to yourself without modification
Hide or misrepresent the source
8. Unsure About Attribution?
If a specific asset doesn’t clarify:
Check the license terms on the asset page
Review your subscription plan details
Contact support for confirmation
